The Savile Row Bespoke Academy is one of the leading tailoring schools in the world. Its objective is to protect, enhance and develop the value of bespoke tailoring by training aspiring tailors to the highest attainable standards. The Academy, which is located on the famous Savile Row, opened its doors to students in 2008. It provides a unique opportunity for persons wanting to acquire the high level knowledge, skills and experience needed for employment in established tailoring houses around the world or to establish their own businesses.
They run two courses; Bespoke Pattern Drafting, Cutting & Fitting. A six week course which delivers into the intricacies of Bespoke pattern making. Their second course, Bespoke Tailoring, focuses predominantly on the skills required to make a three piece suit using traditional techniques.
